Cecily Day Spa Relaunch Event

I love discovering new places, especially when they are right on my doorstep. I was super excited to get invited to the relaunch party of Cecily Day Spa in Berkhamsted, stone’s throw away from me.

Cecily Day Spa and Alchemy & I are neighbouring salons on Berkhamsted High Street and have recently undergone a major refurbishment. They threw an afternoon soirée to celebrate their new look – complete with champagne and cupcakes with frosted icing, the hallmarks of any party worth going to.

The inside of Cecily Day Spa is pure interior goals. With wisteria drenched chandeliers, a flower wall and different themed rooms, it is Instagram worthy and luscious.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by very friendly therapists whose pink uniforms went with the theme perfectly. Two members of the Cecily Pink Army (as I came to think of them) took me on a tour of the beautiful spa and every little detail had been thought of; from quirky sculptures to wallpapered ceilings so that you have something fun to look at when you’re being massaged. My favourite room though had to be the Rose Room which is pure pink perfection.

As part of the relaunch celebration, complimentary treatments were on offer and opted for an eyebrow thread, which was long overdue. The lovely Holly escorted me into their gorgeous parlour room for my treatment and did a superb job on sorting out my brows.

I was gifted a goodie bag full of Espa skincare products which are used in the spa. Keep an eye out on the blog and social media pages to see these featured. The names of the Espa massage oils stand out from the every day ‘ rose and jasmine with ylang ylang.’ Instead these have been named very quirkily; a small detail but makes them so appealing so I may just have to book myself in for a ‘Knackered Duchess’ hot stone massage!

Aside from the gorgeous chic interior, amazing products and treatments available, the best thing about Cecily Day Spa has got to be the incredible therapists that work there. Everyone was friendly, smiley and they were the magic ingredient in making the atmosphere so magical and like hanging out with your girl gang.
